About The Position

The Senior Advisor, Business Analysis (COO) serves as a trusted partner to the Chief Operating Officer, providing high-level guidance on operational performance, strategic initiatives, and data-driven decision-making. This role is responsible for synthesizing complex business data, advising on performance improvement strategies, and supporting executive communications across the Operations Cluster.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in business analysis, performance management, or strategic planning.
  • Bachelor’s degree in a Business, Economics, Data Science, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
  • Collaboration Analytical, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Proficiency in data visualization and business intelligence tools.

Nice To Haves

  • Expertise in MS Office Suite, Power BI, Tableau, and SharePoint.
  • Experience in public sector or utility operations is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Advises the COO on performance trends, operational risks, and strategic alignment across business units.
  • Supports the development and implementation of a formal performance management framework, including KPIs and operational benchmarks.
  • Collaborates with leadership to monitor budget execution, workforce planning, and organizational effectiveness.
  • Leads the analysis of enterprise data to uncover insights that inform strategic decisions and operational improvements.
  • Maintains and enhances performance dashboards using tools such as Oracle, Power BI, and Tableau.
  • Provides ad hoc and periodic reporting to support executive priorities and cross-functional initiatives.
  • Prepares and delivers concise, data-informed presentations and reports for senior leadership, including the CEO and Board of Directors.
  • Translates complex analytics into actionable recommendations and strategic narratives.
  • Ensures alignment of internal and external communications with organizational goals and performance outcomes.
  • Performs other related duties and projects at the direction of the immediate supervisor.
