Allegion is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Advanced Manufacturing Engineer to lead and support manufacturing excellence initiatives across its global operations. This hybrid role, based in the Indianapolis metropolitan area (Carmel, IN), requires in-office attendance on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday when not traveling. The position is pivotal in driving digital transformation, automation, and Industry 4.0 implementations within manufacturing processes to ensure optimal utilization of assets, quality, and efficiency. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in manufacturing engineering, automation, electronics testing, and process digitization, with proven experience in leading complex projects, integrating new technologies, and influencing organizational transformation. Experience with Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) such as Ignition, Aveva, Rockwell, and/or data historians is highly advantageous. The role requires a strong intellectual curiosity, a life-long learner mindset, and a self-motivated approach to driving continuous improvement and innovation. Travel is a significant component, typically 25-40%, but can be extensive (50%+) to support project implementations and operational needs.
