Senior Advanced Manufacturing Engineer
About The Position
As a member of the Advanced Manufacturing Engineering team, the Senior Advanced Manufacturing Engineer will be responsible for supporting cost estimation, new product launch and leading standardization and innovation initiatives. Your work will include, but not be limited to: Interface with industrial engineering team to determine equipment requirements, Write technical purchasing specifications for custom assembly equipment, Project management of equipment from planning to installation, Develop & maintain documentation of standards for key equipment. Travel to support plants 25% average, 50% peak. Requirements
- >5 years of experience in Industrial Engineering
- Project management
- Technical writing
- AutoCad Lt / 2D
- Experience with assembly equipment; build pallets, conveyors, end of line testers etc
- Strong communication & interpersonal skills
- Must demonstrate high attention to detail
- Must have high sense of urgency
Nice To Haves
- Experience in JIT seating or automotive
- Experience with industrial control systems such as PLC
- Define assembly process
- Engineering / process change control
- MOST trained
- Line balancing
- Standard work instructions
- APQP
- PFMEA
