They must maintain expert knowledge of the disease state, products, and competitive landscape, and use sales force automation systems effectively. Administrative duties, including expense and call reporting, must be completed in a timely manner, adhering to all corporate and regulatory guidelines. The role also involves attending medical symposia, conferences, and patient support group meetings to provide education and support. The Senior Advanced Lung Disease (ALD) Specialist role encompasses similar responsibilities but with an expectation of higher performance and potentially additional duties such as facilitating training workshops. This role requires a proven track record of selling excellence, consistently exceeding sales targets, and exhibiting core competencies.
