About The Position

The Sr Administrator, Gift Processing is part of a team responsible for timely recording of gift data in Blackbaud CRM. Gifts can be checks, wires/ach, credit cards, stock or cryptocurrency. Many gifts are in response to appeals and have preset coding for processing, other gifts require more research and decision making to ensure donor intent and audit requirements are met. The Sr Administrator focuses on reviewing and confirming gifts processed by a caging vendor, and ensuring the work is balanced to the bank. The Sr Administrator collaborates to ensure chargebacks received through credit card processor accounts and direct debit rejects are visible in Blackbaud CRM.

Requirements

  • Minimum of a High School Diploma or equivalent, plus at least 2 years of relevant experience or education
  • Professional proficiency in MS Office suite, especially EXCEL
  • Professional proficiency in spoken and written English
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate and collaborate effectively with individuals and teams at all levels, both internally and externally
  • Demonstrated commitment to fostering and maintaining and environment of diversity, inclusion, and belonging.

  • Previous non-profit gift processing experience
  • Banking or other financial experience

Responsibilities

  • Enter donor check data into database for MCF donors with accuracy and honoring donor intent 25%
  • Reconcile and maintain all data on the daily check sheet and balance with bank report 20%
  • Review caging vendor payment data and reconcile to bank deposits 30%
  • Process Credit Card Chargebacks and EFT reject notifications in BBEC 10%
  • Process Refunds and Adjustments requested by Supporter Experience Center 10%
  • Other projects which arise 5%
