About The Position

Join North Idaho College's Workforce Development team and play a key role in supporting programs that connect students, employers, and the community with valuable training and career opportunities. We are seeking a Senior Administrative Assistant who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys balancing customer service, organization, and operational support. In this role, you will serve as a central point of contact for students, staff, employers, and community partners, helping ensure the smooth day-to-day operation of the department. You will coordinate meetings, events, communications, records, reports, budgets, purchasing activities, and administrative processes while supporting a variety of workforce training initiatives. From maintaining accurate records and preparing reports to assisting with marketing efforts and recruitment events, you will play an important role in helping the department achieve its goals. You will also help improve office efficiency by managing workflows, adapting processes, training others on procedures and systems, and providing support for special projects. This position requires sound judgment, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining professionalism and confidentiality. We are looking for someone with exceptional customer service and interpersonal skills who can communicate effectively with a wide range of individuals. Successful candidates will demonstrate strong written and verbal communication skills, proficiency with Microsoft Office and database systems, excellent organizational abilities, and a commitment to providing outstanding support to students, colleagues, and community partners. Requirements

  • Associate’s degree or Applied Associate’s degree or certification from a two-year college or professional/technical school or program.
  • A minimum of three years full-time related experience and/or training.
  • Equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Exceptional customer service and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with a wide range of individuals.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and database systems.
  • Excellent organizational abilities.
