About The Position

As a Senior Actuarial Analyst on the Employee Health & Benefits team, your day is a mix of hands-on modeling, collaborative problem solving, and clear communication. You’ll spend time building and maintaining analytical tools and locally developed pricing models used nationally across Marsh McLennan Agency to evaluate medical and pharmacy plans. Much of your work involves analyzing drivers of clients’ medical and pharmacy costs, preparing projections, and quantifying the financial impact of network or plan design changes. You’ll translate complex clinical and actuarial data into actionable insights and deliverables for account teams and client stakeholders. You’ll partner closely with Account Management, Benefit Advisors, and clinical specialists to develop strategic approaches that align with client objectives. That includes advising on recommendations, reviewing results with the team, and supporting implementation discussions with clients. You’ll also provide oversight and mentorship to actuarial analysts and support the Director of Actuarial Services in analytical and strategic decision-making. Occasional travel within the Mid‑Atlantic region may be required to meet clients or collaborate with colleagues in person.
