Senior Actuarial Analyst, BOP Pricing

We are growing and seeking a talented, forward-thinking, and highly motivated actuary to join AmTrust's Commercial Lines Actuarial Pricing team. Requirements

BS, BA or higher degree
ACAS or close and pursual of FCAS
4+ years of property-casualty commercial lines insurance experience
Strong analytical and communication skills are a must
Extensive knowledge of Excel, Word, and SQL.
Ability to build strong relationships and enrich our positive team culture

Nice To Haves

BOP or GL/Property pricing experience is preferred
R or Python knowledge is a plus

Responsibilities

Support profitability analysis and rate indications for BOP portfolio.
Analyze results by state, industry, and other key business segments, and provide actionable insights to product management and business leaders.
Recommend rate changes and other strategic actions to achieve an appropriate balance between profitability and growth.
Provide actuarial support for rate filings, including responding to regulatory objections and ensuring compliance with state insurance requirements.
Communicate findings, recommendations, and business implications to Product and other stakeholders to drive alignment and support decision-making.
Develop, enhance, and maintain dashboards and monitoring tools to track BOP performance and key business metrics.
Monitor economic trends, competitive market dynamics, and industry benchmarks to inform pricing strategy and business decisions.
