Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in related field or equivalent experience.
Combination of years of experience and number of actuarial exams passed equals or exceeds 5 (Rule of 5). For example, 2 years of actuarial experience and 3 passed actuarial exams.
Intermediate to advanced Excel skills.
Data analytics experience.
Basic query/SQL knowledge.

Responsibilities

Apply principles of mathematics, probability, statistics, finance, and business to analyze Medicare FFS claims, savings initiatives, and provider risk-sharing arrangements.
Develop and maintain quarterly forecasts for Medicare fee-for-service (FFS) medical costs, savings initiatives, and provider risk-sharing arrangements, identifying key trends, assumptions, and forecast variances.
Develop and run data reports to identify emerging trends and gaps.
Prepare financial and analytical exhibits and effectively communicate findings to technical and non-technical audiences.
Collaborate with internal business partners to support forecasting, reporting, and financial analysis needs.
Perform other duties as assigned.
