The Humble Senior Activity Center serves as a vibrant gathering place for adults ages 55 and older, offering programs, services, and activities that promote wellness, social engagement, lifelong learning, and independence. The Center provides a welcoming environment where seniors can participate in arts and crafts, fitness classes, educational programs, social luncheons, special events, and community outings while building meaningful connections with others. In addition to recreational and enrichment opportunities, the Center operates a transportation program that helps seniors remain active and independent by providing reliable transportation within the City of Humble. Through this service, seniors can access the Center's programs and activities, attend medical appointments, conduct personal business, and complete essential errands. The Senior Activity Center Assistant/Bus Driver plays a key role in supporting the Center's mission. This position combines customer service, event coordination, program support, and transportation responsibilities to ensure seniors receive a positive, safe, and engaging experience. The selected candidate will enjoy working with older adults Center members and staff, possess strong organizational and communication skills, and demonstrate a commitment to serving the community with professionalism, patience, and compassion. This is a hands-on position that requires flexibility and teamwork, as the selected employee will assist with planning and executing activities and special events, maintaining a safe and welcoming facility, coordinating transportation schedules, and providing direct assistance to Senior Center members.
