About The Position

The Director’s Action Group (DAG) / Business Operations Senior-Level position serves as a key acquisition and business operations advisor supporting Space Force programs at Los Angeles Operations in El Segundo, CA. In this role, you will help manage the cost, schedule, and performance of Department of Defense acquisitions while coordinating high-visibility taskers, consolidating stakeholder responses, and supporting leadership with planning, briefing, and execution activities. You will play an essential role in ensuring timely and effective support to directorate, SSC, and Space Force Command priorities.

Requirements

  • Minimum 10 years of relevant experience.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Management, Business, Economics, Finance, Accounting, Mathematics, Science, Technology, Engineering, or Statistics.
  • Active TS/SCI eligibility.
  • Strong communication, planning, budgeting, and programming skills.
  • Ability to assess and consolidate technical and programmatic inputs from internal and external stakeholders.
  • Experience using TMT and MS Office Suite in a DoD or Space Force/Air Force environment.
  • Ability to work independently and manage high-visibility, time-sensitive actions.
  • Strong organizational, analytical, and coordination skills.

Responsibilities

  • Support Director’s Action Group and Business Operations functions for Space Force acquisition activities.
  • Manage the cost, schedule, and performance of Department of Defense acquisitions from the commercial, industrial, and/or military perspective.
  • Assess, develop, evaluate, and consolidate technical and programmatic responses from internal and external program stakeholders.
  • Frequently interact with Space Force/Air Force and DoD tools such as TMT and MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) to initiate, track, and close out various directorate, SSC, and Space Force Command taskers.
  • Apply effective communication, planning, budgeting, and programming skills to support ongoing and future Space Force acquisitions.
  • Conducting daily review, analysis, and dissemination of tasks.
  • Using NIPR and SIPR Task Management Tool (TMT) and email to retrieve and assign tasks.
  • Updating the tasker database and providing it to leadership at the end of each day.
  • Assembling and providing instruction on the completion of electronic Staff Summary Sheet (eSSS) packages.
  • Communicating effectively with offices at each leadership level, including Directorate, Center, MAJCOM, Space Force, and DoD.
  • Preparing briefing slides for weekly leadership council meetings.
  • Advising leadership on the status of assigned deliverables.
  • Maintaining appointment calendars and conference room schedules.
  • Assisting with acquisition planning documents such as acquisition strategies, RFPs, and CDRLs.
  • Assisting with performing market research.
  • Performing other duties as assigned.
