About The Position

BryceTech is seeking an experienced Senior Acquisition Contracting Specialist to support the US Space Force, Space Systems Command (SSC) customer. This role will provide critical support to programs focused on Space Domain Awareness and Combat Power, including cyber, ground, and space-based systems. The specialist will assist in detecting, warning, characterizing, attributing, and predicting threats to space systems, as well as providing deterrence capabilities. The position involves supporting the development, integration, testing, deployment, sustainment, and operational support for these advanced space systems across the entire acquisition lifecycle. The contract will support multiple SSC/SZ-BC programs and other Space Force, Air Force, and mission partner programs, focusing on weapon systems for Space Domain Awareness and Combat Power (SSC/SZ), and Battle Management, Command, Control, and Communications (BMC3) (SSC/BC). The work environment includes ground, near-space, and space domains.

Requirements

  • Expertise in Federal, DoD, Air Force, and/or SSC contracting processes and procedures.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead all aspects of any contract action required by the program office, including solicitations, change proposals, funding modifications, and award or incentive fee management.
  • MA/MS degree.
  • Over 10 years of relative experience.
  • Active Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility (TS/SCI).

Nice To Haves

  • Prior PCO or Buyer experience preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Assist the Government in executing source selections subject to FAR 9.505-4, including coordinating functional meeting requests, developing source selection documentation (e.g., source selection plan, acquisition strategy, non-disclosure agreements), and reviewing/drafting proposal evaluations.
  • Provide contract and subcontract management support, assisting Government Contracting Officers and contract specialists in executing various contracting actions.
  • Advise on requests for proposals, technical evaluations, contract negotiation, contract administration, and contract execution.
  • Provide contracts guidance and determinations, and technical and operational leadership for program and business management teams.
  • Advise all levels of management on contractual rights and obligations, risk avoidance and mitigation, strategy, and problem-solving.
  • Advise and assist on the management of existing Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contracts.
