About The Position

CDM has an exciting new opportunity for a Senior Acquisition Analyst in support of Special Operations Forces Acquisition, Technology and Logistics’ (SOF AT&L). This is a full-time opportunity, on site on MacDill AFB in Tampa, FL.

Requirements

  • Must be a US citizen
  • Must have and be able to maintain a Top Secret Security Clearance with SCI Eligibility.
  • DAWIA Practitioner Equivalency IAW the PWS (DAWIA level II equivalent), and in the Program Management field
  • Bachelor's degree in an acquisition, business, or related field
  • 10 years working in Federal Government acquisition programs or equivalent defense industry experience
  • Experience preparing technical evaluations, ADM, SAMP, PB, FM worksheet, program protection plan, annual spend plan builds, PowerPoint Briefings processes, and government contracting processes.

Nice To Haves

  • Knowledge of the Defense Acquisition System (DoDI 5000 series) and Defense Acquisition Framework.
  • Understanding of federal acquisition, contracting, and appropriations law principles.
  • Experience supporting cost analysis, market research, and acquisition strategy development.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and Microsoft Project.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to analyze complex issues, develop actionable solutions, and manage multiple priorities.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented Government-support environment.

Responsibilities

  • Support Government Program Managers and senior leadership in planning, execution, and oversight of acquisition and program management activities.
  • Analyze program requirements and develop goals, objectives, and strategies to ensure successful mission accomplishment.
  • Monitor program cost, schedule, performance, and risk, and recommend mitigation strategies to address issues and maintain program objectives.
  • Conduct research and analysis to identify program bottlenecks, inefficiencies, and barriers to execution, and develop corrective recommendations.
  • Support the development, staffing, and coordination of acquisition documentation, including acquisition strategies, SAMPs, APBs, spend plans, funding documents, market research, technical evaluations, and milestone packages.
  • Collect, analyze, and report program metrics, requirements, and performance data to support management decision-making.
  • Coordinate with Government stakeholders, technical teams, and external organizations to ensure effective communication and program alignment.
  • Monitor programs for compliance with applicable policies, regulations, directives, and acquisition guidance.
  • Interpret changes in acquisition policy, contracting regulations, and program directives, and assess impacts to ongoing efforts.
  • Support market research activities and cost-benefit analyses to inform acquisition and program decisions.
  • Review program information and prepare reports, briefings, status updates, and executive-level presentations.
  • Assist with resource planning and allocation based on program priorities, requirements, and funding availability.
  • Answer data calls, respond to information requests, and provide programmatic recommendations to Government leadership.
  • Support contract planning, administration, and acquisition activities across the program lifecycle.
  • Collaborate as part of a multidisciplinary team to solve complex program, acquisition, and contracting challenges.
  • Maintain accurate program documentation, schedules, and records using Microsoft Office products and project management tools such as Microsoft Project.
