We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Accounts Payable Coordinator to join our Houston-based Accounting Team at Mustang Cat, the authorized Caterpillar® dealer for Southeast Texas. Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of 3 years of Accounts Payable experience
- Solid understanding of accounting principles and procedures
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- High proficiency with Excel and related software
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow process
Nice To Haves
- College coursework in Business or Accounting
- Experience with SAP Concur, AVIDXchange, ApplicationXtender, and Unit4 Financials
Responsibilities
- Manage all aspects of Mustang Cat’s weekly accounts payable check run
- Ensure timely and accurate payment of vendor invoices
- Review invoices for correct coding and approval routing
- Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies
- Process employee expense reimbursements
- Set up and maintain vendor accounts in the AP system
- Complete W-9 requests and vendor tax documentation
- Assist with account reconciliations and reporting
