About The Position

This role is for a Senior Accounting Officer focusing on Accounts Payable and General Ledger. The position involves reviewing and executing daily payments and staff reimbursements, performing accounting functions for month-end and year-end financial reporting, and supporting efficiency enhancements. The officer will also assist in internal and external audits, support system implementations and other operational tasks, and participate in ad hoc finance-related assignments.

Requirements

• Degree holder or equivalent preferably in Finance, Accounting or any business related discipline
• Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar role or capacity
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities with strong attention to detail
• Customer oriented with effective communication skill and team spirit
• Well-organized, proactive, and able to cope with fast-paced environment
• Strong sense of ownership, commitment, and ability to work under pressure
• Proficient in MS Excel
• Fluent in written and verbal English and Cantonese

Nice To Haves

• Knowledge of SAP is a plus

Responsibilities

• Review and execute daily payments in accordance with relevant policies and procedures
• Review and execute staff claim and other type of reimbursements
• Perform accounting functions for month-end and year-end financial reporting
• Support in efficiency and quality enhancements through recommendations of appropriate courses of action/improvements to the supervisors
• Assist in the internal and external audit, including preparing relevant schedules
• Support implementation of systems, projects and other operational tasks
• Participate in ad hoc assignments or other projects and finance-related tasks as assigned by the company
