About The Position

Red-D-Arc is hiring a Senior Accounting Analyst in Grimsby, ON. This role reports to the Senior Accounting Manager and is a key part of the Controller's group, focusing on driving financial excellence. The position operates on a Monday-Friday, 40-hour work week with a hybrid schedule, requiring 3 days in the office. The company is committed to building a diverse and inclusive workplace.

Requirements

Post Secondary Business Degree.
CPA Designation Or in Progress
3+ years of progressive accounting experience.
Solid knowledge of IFRS.
Proficiency in excel -Pivots- Complex Data

Nice To Haves

Experience in a multinational, multi-currency environment is preferable.
Detailed oriented with strong analytical and problem solving skills
Adaptable to set and prioritize work with varying exceptions.
Communicates with clarity, verbally and in writing, in one on one or group situations
Prior experience with Microsoft D365 and/or BPC is an asset.
Ability to multi-task and work independently with little supervision.
Rental Industry Experience is an Asset

Responsibilities

Maintain a safe working environment by following Airgas/Red-D-Arc’s health and safety guidelines.
Assist with the monthly and quarterly close process.
Prepare complex accruals and adjusting journal entries.
Reconcile RDA intercompany Sales and Cost of sales.
Analysis and reporting on all fixed assets and inventory.
Provide detailed variance analysis of sales and COS.
Calculate quarterly commissions for Lease Logistics revenue.
Prepare various mandatory reports.
Support Corporate tax preparation for both Canada and the US.
Collaborates on department initiatives and special projects including Business Process Improvements (BPI).
Ensure all IFRS compliance standards are met.
Perform other related duties as required.
