About The Position

We are a rapidly growing cybersecurity company focused on protecting organizations from evolving digital threats. Following recent acquisitions and with additional expansion on the horizon, we are scaling quickly and building a best-in-class finance function to support our growth. We are seeking a hands-on Senior Accountant to lead core accounting operations while supporting strategic financial initiatives. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a high-growth, fast-paced environment and is excited to build processes, integrate acquisitions, and partner cross-functionally. You will own the day-to-day accounting function while contributing to financial planning, reporting, and will report directly to the CFO.

Requirements

  • 3-6 years of progressive accounting/finance experience
  • Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting
  • Experience with ERP/accounting systems (NetSuite & Maxio preferred)
  • Experience in an MRR and Professional Services revenue streams
  • Expert in Excel
  • Strong understanding of GAAP and financial principals
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Effective communication skills and ability to collaborate with others
  • Willingness to handle the day-to-day needs of the department
  • Ability to be hands-on, roll-up-your-sleeves mindset
  • All candidates must be eligible to work in the U.S. for any employer.

Nice To Haves

  • CPA certification preferred
  • Experience with M&A or integration work is highly desirable

Responsibilities

  • Manage full-cycle finance and accounting: accounts payable, accounts receivable, invoicing, commission calculations and banking transactions, collections
  • Oversee the month-end and year-end close process, including journal entries, reconciliations, and variance analysis
  • Oversee journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial statements
  • Ensure compliance with GAAP and maintain strong internal controls
  • Utilize software to manage accounting functions, streamline processes, and ensure accuracy of financial data.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide financial insights and support decision-making.
  • Support budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis
  • Develop and maintain financial models to support business decisions
  • Prepare management reports and board-ready financial materials
  • Monitor cash flow and optimize working capital
  • Assist with acquisition accounting and post-acquisition integration
  • Align financial systems, processes, and reporting across entities
  • Support due diligence efforts for future acquisitions
  • Coordinate external audits and tax filings
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies
  • Oversight of daily Finance and Accounting operations
  • Supervise, mentor, and develop finance staff
  • Delegate tasks effectively and ensure workload balance
  • Conduct performance reviews and support professional growth
