About The Position

Serve as a key support to the Corporate Controller and act as a business partner to plant management to ensure effective financial management, control, and performance of the company.

Requirements

  • Bachelors Degree in Accounting, Finance or related field
  • 3-6 years of progressive accounting experience
  • Strong general accounting knowledge
  • Proficiency in general ledger, financial analysis, U.S. GAAP, and SOX controls
  • Extremely proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Access
  • Good Communication skills
  • Teamwork
  • Excellent analytical and technical skills with attention to detail
  • Strong decision-making skills, problem solving capabilities, extremely well-organized
  • Strong multi-tasking abilities
  • High level of initiative with an ability to work independently.
  • Ability to manage/delegate

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and review journal entries, accruals, and account reconciliations
  • Assist in month-end and year-end close, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting
  • Assist with the year-end audit
  • Assist in the preparation of annual financial budget
  • Maintain the fixed asset subledger, including additions, disposals, and depreciation
  • Maintain and prepare monthly SLT budget v. actual workbooks
  • Lead the departmental review of OPEX actuals v. budget and forecast
  • Perform accounting research as needed to support new transactions or standards
  • Prepare clear documentation and recommendations related to accounting conclusions
  • Partner with the CFO to drive accounting projects, process improvements, and organizational initiatives
  • Serve as Blackline administrator, managing month-end close workflows, account reconciliations, and system requirements to support accurate and timely financial reporting
  • Monitor, manage, and drive key KPIs to achieve targeted business outcomes
  • Drive process improvements that lead to greater efficiency, effectiveness, and scalability within the accounting function
  • Support implementation and optimization of accounting systems and tools
  • Serve as a resource for accounting staff, providing guidance and review as needed
  • Partner cross-functionally with FP&A, operations, supply chain, and other teams to support financial initiatives
  • Support ad hoc projects and management requests as assigned
