About The Position
Serve as a key support to the Corporate Controller and act as a business partner to plant management to ensure effective financial management, control, and performance of the company.
Requirements
- Bachelors Degree in Accounting, Finance or related field
- 3-6 years of progressive accounting experience
- Strong general accounting knowledge
- Proficiency in general ledger, financial analysis, U.S. GAAP, and SOX controls
- Extremely proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Access
- Good Communication skills
- Teamwork
- Excellent analytical and technical skills with attention to detail
- Strong decision-making skills, problem solving capabilities, extremely well-organized
- Strong multi-tasking abilities
- High level of initiative with an ability to work independently.
- Ability to manage/delegate

- CPA, CMA or MBA preferred
Responsibilities
- Prepare and review journal entries, accruals, and account reconciliations
- Assist in month-end and year-end close, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting
- Assist with the year-end audit
- Assist in the preparation of annual financial budget
- Maintain the fixed asset subledger, including additions, disposals, and depreciation
- Maintain and prepare monthly SLT budget v. actual workbooks
- Lead the departmental review of OPEX actuals v. budget and forecast
- Perform accounting research as needed to support new transactions or standards
- Prepare clear documentation and recommendations related to accounting conclusions
- Partner with the CFO to drive accounting projects, process improvements, and organizational initiatives
- Serve as Blackline administrator, managing month-end close workflows, account reconciliations, and system requirements to support accurate and timely financial reporting
- Monitor, manage, and drive key KPIs to achieve targeted business outcomes
- Drive process improvements that lead to greater efficiency, effectiveness, and scalability within the accounting function
- Support implementation and optimization of accounting systems and tools
- Serve as a resource for accounting staff, providing guidance and review as needed
- Partner cross-functionally with FP&A, operations, supply chain, and other teams to support financial initiatives
- Support ad hoc projects and management requests as assigned
