Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field
5 years of experience in accounting, with progressive experience in accounting and/or financial planning
Strong knowledge of financial budgeting, forecasting and financial modeling
Strong analytical, problem –solving and data interpretation skills
Above average skills in Microsoft Office Professional Suite, with advanced skills in Excel (modeling, data analysis and reporting)
Understanding of general accounting principles and financial statement relationships

Nice To Haves

Experience in financial planning and analysis within a nonprofit, grant-driven, or multi-program environment
Experience with Microsoft Dynamics Business Central or similar integrated accounting and planning systems
Knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP) and ability to apply them in financial analysis and reporting
CPA license

Responsibilities

Primary responsibility for the development of budgets and forecasts company-wide
Manage company leases using lease software
Analyze financial results, identify trends and variances, and provide actionable insights to management and department leaders
Support grant lifecycle activities, including budget development, financial tracking, and billing, ensuring compliance with funding requirements
Utilize financial systems and tools to extract, analyze, and interpret data, improving reporting accuracy and efficiency
Participate in month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring accuracy of financial results and alignment with forecasts
