About The Position

DISHER is currently partnering with a global leader in service supply chain solutions in search for a Senior Accountant to join their team. In this role, you will serve as a key member of the accounting team, responsible for preparing and analyzing financial statements, managing general ledger activities, and supporting month-end and year-end close processes. Youâ msll also collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve financial reporting accuracy, ensure compliance with accounting standards, and drive process improvements that support overall business performance.

Requirements

• Strong US GAAP knowledge
• Advanced computer skills on MS Office and databases; ability to manipulate large amounts of data
• 5+ years accounting experience.

Nice To Haves

• Active CPA license - preferred
• Knowledge of Microsoft Business Central
• Public company experience a plus.

Responsibilities

• Prepare journal entries and balance sheet reconciliations.
• Prepare month end close activities and prepare internal monthly reporting.
• Assist in preparation of year-end financial statements.
• Perform and review internal control documentation and testing.
• Prepare variance analysis vs budget and forecast.
• Monitor day-to-day bank activities and cash management.
• Assist in tax filings and compliance.
• Support Assistant Controller with process improvement initiatives.
