Our division is a dynamic eCommerce company with a comprehensive product catalog and extensive inventory operations across multiple warehouses and sales channels. Position Summary We are looking for a detail-oriented Senior Accountant to join our accounting team. This role is essential for accurate financial reporting, robust internal controls, and effective accounting for inventory, COGS, and revenue in a high-volume eCommerce setting. The ideal candidate will have significant experience in inventory accounting, month-end close, and NetSuite, thriving in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
4–7+ years of accounting experience
Strong knowledge of US GAAP
Advanced Excel skills
NetSuite experience preferred

CPA or CPA candidate
NetSuite experience preferred
Experience in eCommerce, retail, or consumer products

Responsibilities

Execute monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes; prepare and review journal entries and reconciliations in line with US GAAP.
Reconcile credit card deposits, record customer payments, and review AP payment runs.
Reconcile inventory subledger to general ledger; monitor inventory in transit, landed costs, and purchase price variances.
Collaborate with the sales team on customer invoice adjustments, credit memos, sales tax exemptions, and refunds.
Review and process customer sales tax exemption certificates; approve sales tax returns and manage state sales tax notices.
Support the AP coordinator and assist with ad-hoc projects as needed.
