About The Position

The Senior Accountant plays a critical role in the monthly financial close and consolidation process for DASCO and its subsidiaries. Reporting directly to the Controller, this individual contributor will manage day-to-day accounting operations, lead process improvement initiatives, and collaborate closely with cross-functional business partners.

Requirements

Advanced capability to analyze, interpret, and present financial data.
Intermediate to advanced skill level in Microsoft Excel (e.g., VLOOKUPs, pivot tables, data manipulation).
Proven ability to independently multitask, prioritize projects, and thrive in a fast-paced, growing business.
Verbal and written communication skills with the comfort to present data to diverse stakeholders.
Detail-oriented professional who works well under moderate supervision and takes initiative to solve problems.
3–5 years of accounting experience applying US GAAP.
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.

Nice To Haves

Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or CPA eligibility is a plus.

Responsibilities

Assist in the accurate, timely monthly close and consolidation of DASCO and related entities.
Prepare balance sheet reconciliations, journal entries, and cost allocations.
Prepare and file local, state, and federal tax returns, including sales, use, and corporate tax schedules.
Generate ad hoc financial reports to support strategic decision-making by leadership.
Proactively identify accounting inefficiencies and design solutions to streamline operations.
Communicate effectively across departments to resolve financial inquiries and support broader business initiatives.
