We are seeking an experienced and highly analytical Senior Accountant to join our finance team. The Senior Accountant will play a critical role in overseeing day-to-day accounting operations, ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial reporting, and providing strategic financial insights to support business growth. This is a hands-on position ideal for a proactive, detail-oriented professional who is ready to take ownership of complex accounting processes in a fast-paced, growing organization.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field required; CPA license strongly preferred.
5+ years of progressive accounting experience, preferably in manufacturing, medical devices, biotech, or a similar industry.
Bilingual proficiency in English and Korean (spoken and written) is highly preferred.
Advanced proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks, Xero, SAP, NetSuite, or equivalent) and Microsoft Excel (including advanced functions, pivot tables, and data analysis).
In-depth knowledge of U.S. GAAP, tax regulations, and multi-state compliance.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills with high attention to detail.
Proven ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and meet tight deadlines.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Nice To Haves

Experience with ERP systems.
Knowledge of multi-state and international tax compliance.
Prior experience supporting audits in a regulated industry (FDA, medical device, or biotech preferred).
Familiarity with inventory costing, revenue recognition (ASC 606), and capitalized costs in a manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

Lead the preparation and maintenance of accurate financial records, including general ledger management, complex journal entries, and account reconciliations.
Oversee full-cycle accounts payable and accounts receivable processes, ensuring timely and accurate payments, collections, and cash flow management.
Manage the month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing processes, including consolidation and financial statement preparation.
Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, variance analysis reports, and management dashboards.
Perform detailed bank and credit card reconciliations and resolve complex discrepancies.
Handle tax compliance, including preparation and filing of federal, state, and local tax returns, sales tax reports, and other regulatory filings.
Conduct financial analysis to support budgeting, forecasting, and strategic decision-making; present findings and recommendations to management.
Ensure compliance with U.S. GAAP (and IFRS where applicable) and maintain strong internal controls.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams (including headquarters in Korea) to gather financial data, resolve accounting issues, and support business initiatives.
Assist with internal and external audits by preparing documentation, coordinating responses, and implementing audit recommendations.
Mentor and support junior accounting staff as needed.
