Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance or related
  • 7+ years’ experience in accounting
  • Experience in job costing
  • Experienced in complex accounting matters and in applying US GAAP
  • Experience in the application of accrual accounting for hard month-end close cut-off
  • Demonstrates strong Excel skills and analytic thinking
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence all levels within an organization
  • Ability to act and operate independently with minimal daily direction to accomplish objectives
  • Ability to identify and implement process optimization strategies

Nice To Haves

  • CPA or Advanced degree in Accounting, Finance or related
  • Public accounting experience
  • Experience with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems and other support applications
  • Ability and desire to learn new skills

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for P&L and balance sheet accounting for assigned areas to include journal entries, account reconciliations, account analysis, and schedules.
  • Responsible for job costing, calculating and recording percent of completion (POC)
  • Research and investigate financial variances for monthly fluctuation analysis (P&L and balance sheet); resolve in an expeditious manner
  • Maintain corporate add backs schedule for all BUs to ensure we have support for all bridge items to Adjusted EBITDA.
  • Assist with month end intercompany account reconciliation
  • Prepare business process documentation for core activities.
  • Identify, make recommendations and implement process improvements
  • Other duties as assigned
