About The Position

Today, we support small and growing businesses across the country as an outsourced accounting and financial management firm—helping our clients make smarter financial decisions and scale with confidence. We’re looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Senior Accountant to join our team. In this role, you’ll play a key part in delivering accurate, timely financial reporting for a variety of clients. The position emphasizes higher-level accounting responsibilities rather than just transactional tasks. It involves general ledger analysis, month-end close, reconciliations, and financial reporting. If you thrive on diving deep into details, solving problems, and producing meaningful financial insights, this role provides a significant opportunity to grow in a dynamic, client-facing environment. Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance (required).
• 5+ years of accounting experience.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• High attention to detail and organization.
• Clear and professional communication skills (written and verbal).
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
• A strong work ethic and commitment to producing high-quality work.
• Positive, solutions-oriented attitude with openness to feedback and a continuous improvement mindset.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with QuickBooks is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
• Perform general ledger account reconciliations, including prepaids, accruals, and fixed assets.
• Analyze and maintain the integrity of the general ledger.
• Prepare and post monthly journal entries.
• Complete bank, credit card, and balance sheet reconciliations.
• Assist with month-end and year-end close processes.
• Support financial reporting, including consolidations where applicable.
• Identify and resolve discrepancies in financial records.
• Collaborate with internal team members to troubleshoot and improve processes.
• Comfort interacting with clients via phone, email, and in person.
