About The Position
The Senior Accountant, as part of the HQ Finance team, is responsible for all aspects of the general ledger, including daily transactions, journal entries, balance sheet reconciliations, and month-end close. The role also supports global projects and ensures compliance with company policies across Worldwide Finance operations.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in accounting required.
- 3+ years public accounting experience and/or corporate accounting experience required.
- High proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail with a high degree of accuracy.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively across teams.
Nice To Haves
- CPA or CPA candidate preferred.
Responsibilities
- Support monthly, quarterly and annual general ledger close processes, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting.
- Assist in identifying opportunities to improve accounting processes, controls, and operational efficiency.
- Support internal and external financial audits by preparing schedules, documentation, and responses to audit requests.
- Ensure compliance with SOX requirements, internal controls, and Company accounting policies applicable to assigned areas.
- Respond to ad hoc accounting inquiries and information requests from Finance and other business partners.
