About The Position

Ready to make your mark at one of the world’s leading responsible travel companies? As the Senior Accountant, Canada, you’ll be at the heart of our Finance team, helping keep the business running smoothly while supporting the decisions that shape our growth. Working closely with the Finance Manager, you’ll support the day-to-day finance operations across Intrepid Canada, as well as our local leadership team. Your responsibilities will span accounting, payables, receivables, treasury, and assisting the team with pricing, analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and ensuring compliance with global policies. You’ll work side-by-side with our shared service centers and local management, providing financial insights and practical support that help keep our operations running smoothly. Ultimately, your work will help us deliver sustainable, experience-rich travel to our customers.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related business discipline.
5+ years’ experience in Finance/Accounting.
Strong finance and accounting experience within a large global corporation.
Advanced Excel skills.
Passion for travel and belief in Intrepid Travel’s responsible travel philosophy.
Understanding of and support for Intrepid Travel’s Purpose Beyond Profit ethos.

Nice To Haves

CPA qualification (or equivalent), or currently studying towards the qualification.
Experience with Microsoft Office, Dynamics D365, TM1, and Power BI.
Travel industry experience, particularly in operations and/or sales and marketing.
