Our Club is a dynamic hospitality operation that includes golf, racquets, dining, events, membership, aquatics, grounds, and facilities. The Senior Accountant will work across these areas, combining hands-on accounting responsibilities with financial analysis, forecasting, cost management, and operational partnership.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, business administration, or a related field.
  • Relevant senior-level accounting experience, preferably in a private club, hospitality, restaurant, resort, nonprofit, or similarly complex operating environment.
  • Strong knowledge of accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger accounting, reconciliations, and financial reporting.

  • Experience supporting department leaders with budgeting, cost accounting, and expense management.
  • Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and professional judgment.
  • Strong communication skills and confidence participating in financial discussions with managers and Club leadership.
  • Proficiency with accounting software and Microsoft Excel.

Responsibilities

  • Manage daily accounting activities, including accounts payable and accounts receivable.
  • Maintain accurate financial records, general ledger activity, reconciliations, and supporting schedules.

  • Develop and maintain rolling six-month financial projections.
  • Partner with department heads on budgeting, expense management, cost accounting, and operational decision-making.
  • Assist with annual budgeting, forecasting, audit support, tax preparation, and year-end reporting.
  • Monitor internal controls and recommend improvements to accounting procedures and financial systems.
  • Present financial information in a clear and approachable manner to Club leadership and appropriate committees.
