About The Position
We’re looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Senior Accountant to assist the Director of Accounting with day-to-day activities and month end closes. In this role, you’ll be cross-trained in AR, AP, and general accounting tasks. The ideal candidate is very organized, has strong communication skills, and has a desire to learn. Columbus Distributing Company is a family-owned sales and service corporation distributing Anheuser-Busch, Yuengling, craft, and imported beers in Franklin County.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration.
- Strong numerical and organizational skills.
- High attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- At least 3 years of accounting experience.
Responsibilities
- Daily AR tasks
- Backup to AP tasks
- Auditing Information Given
- Interdepartmental Communication
- General Data Entry Tasks
- Month-End Assistance
- Miscellaneous accounting tasks, as assigned
