About The Position

GGFL is seeking a detail-oriented, client-focused Senior Staff Accountant who is ready to grow their career in tax and advisory services. This role involves assisting with corporate planning, reorganizations, and related tax elections, supporting tax and estate planning engagements for owner-managed businesses, researching complex tax issues, and preparing/reviewing various tax returns. The position offers the opportunity to work closely with Managers and Partners on tax planning initiatives, provide tax support to Assurance team members, build strong client relationships, and continuously expand technical tax knowledge and advisory experience. The role is ideal for an experienced Senior Staff Accountant or an emerging tax professional ready for the next step in their career.

Requirements

2+ years of tax experience in public accounting
Hands-on experience with tax planning, reorganizations, estate planning, or tax research
Strong analytical thinking and attention to detail
Confidence navigating complex tax issues and communicating solutions clearly
A collaborative approach and willingness to share knowledge with teammates
Curiosity, initiative, and a desire to continue developing your tax expertise
A client-first mindset and the ability to build trusted relationships

Responsibilities

Assisting with corporate planning, reorganizations and related tax elections
Supporting tax and estate planning engagements for owner-managed businesses
Researching complex tax issues and drafting technical memoranda
Preparing and reviewing corporate, personal, trust, and partnership tax returns
Working closely with Managers and Partners on tax planning initiatives
Providing tax support and guidance to Assurance team members
Building strong client relationships through proactive communication and trusted advice
Continuing to expand your technical tax knowledge and advisory experience
