Senior Accountant
About The Position
Full accounting responsibility for multiple Group entities to include (but not limited to) the following: High volume journal entries using S4/HANA (SAP cloud solution) Managing accounts payable in conjunction with shared services team Processing of vendor payments Maintenance of fixed asset schedules including additions, disposals, and depreciation Monthly accrual entries and reversals Bank Account Management, and weekly cash forecast Bi-monthly payroll journal entries Monthly reconciliation of all balance sheet accounts P&L flux analysis including explanations for variances Financial statement preparation including Balance Sheet, P&L, Cash Flows and Statement of Stockholders Equity Other ad-hoc responsibilities as required
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in accounting
- 3-6 years' accounting experience
- Highly organized with a strong attention to detail and an ability to work independently
- Comfortable in a fast-paced environment where priorities change very quickly
- Open and honest communication. Ability to accept and adapt to critical feedback
- Looking for someone who takes an analytical approach to accounting and can quickly identify areas that need attention
- Previous experience with US GAAP
