About The Position

Cherry Bekaert Recruiting is seeking a detail-oriented Senior Accountant. This role will be responsible for supporting the monthly financial close process, preparing journal entries and accruals, performing bank reconciliations, and providing oversight of the accounts payable function. The ideal candidate will have strong NetSuite experience, a solid understanding of GAAP, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
4+ years of progressive accounting experience.
Strong experience with NetSuite required.
Experience with month-end close, accruals, and account reconciliations.
Prior experience overseeing or reviewing accounts payable activities.
Advanced Excel skills and strong analytical capabilities.
Excellent attention to detail, organization, and communication skills.

Nice To Haves

CPA or CPA-track is a plus.
Experience in a multi-entity or high-growth environment.
Exposure to audit support and financial statement preparation.
Process improvement and systems optimization experience.

Responsibilities

Support and execute the monthly, quarterly, and year-end close processes.
Prepare and review journal entries, accruals, and account reconciliations.
Perform and maintain accurate bank and cash reconciliations.
Review balance sheet accounts and resolve reconciling items timely.
Provide oversight of the accounts payable process, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with internal controls.
Collaborate with AP staff and business partners to resolve invoice and payment issues.
Assist with financial statement preparation and variance analysis.
Support external audits and provide required documentation.
Identify opportunities for process improvements and accounting efficiencies.
Maintain accurate financial records and ensure compliance with GAAP.
