About The Position
A growing private investment firm is seeking a Senior Accountant to join its Dallas-based team. This role reports to the Controller and offers strong exposure to leadership, financial reporting, and strategic analysis across a diverse investment portfolio.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting (Master’s preferred)
- 2–4 years of experience in public accounting, audit, or similar accounting role
- Strong understanding of US GAAP and financial reporting
- Advanced Excel skills (Pivot Tables, data analysis)
- CPA or CPA-eligible preferred
Nice To Haves
- Experience with data visualization tools is a plus
Responsibilities
- Perform month-end and quarter-end close activities, including journal entries and accruals
- Prepare and review balance sheet reconciliations
- Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements (US GAAP)
- Analyze financial and operating data to support business decisions
- Ensure compliance with internal controls and accounting procedures
- Support the annual audit process, including preparation of schedules and audit requests
- Assist leadership with financial analysis to identify trends, risks, and opportunities
