About The Position

Bravida Medical is hiring a Senior Accountant, a key contributor to our financial excellence, playing a vital role in delivering accurate, timely, and compliant financial reporting. This role is at the heart of the month-end close process, partnering closely with the business to prepare account reconciliations, journal entries, and cash-related activities, while supporting regulatory and compliance reporting. Working cross-functionally with teams such as Accounts Payable, Payroll, FP&A, and operational leaders, the Senior Accountant ensures financial transactions are recorded with precision and in accordance with GAAP and internal control standards. This is a hands-on role for a detail-oriented professional who enjoys collaboration, problem-solving, and making a direct impact on the integrity of financial reporting and the insights that drive business decisions.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting (required).
  • 5–7 years of related accounting experience.
  • Strong technical accounting (GAAP), month-end close, journal entries/accruals, balance sheet reconciliations/variance investigation, cash management and bank reconciliations; excellent communication, organization, and attention to detail; proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and accounting software; ability to prepare tax reports.
  • Candidates must currently possess unrestricted authorization to work in the United States. Work visa sponsorship is not available for this role.

Nice To Haves

  • Master’s degree or CPA (a plus).
  • Experience with SAP by Design ERP
  • Multi-entity accounting and intercompany transactions; full balance sheet and P&L responsibility; audit support; manufacturing/distribution or inventory-related accounting (GR/IR, WIP) a plus; experience in private equity–sponsored company.
  • Experience working in a manufacturing environment and distribution experience.

Responsibilities

  • Lead key parts of the month‑end close, including journal entries, account reconciliations, and analytical reviews that ensure accurate financial results.
  • Manage cash and treasury activities—such as bank and merchant reconciliations, ACH and wire payments, and cash forecasting—to keep the business running smoothly.
  • Own fixed, intangible, and intercompany accounting, ensuring transactions are recorded accurately and consistently.
  • Support audits, tax filings, and compliance requirements by preparing documentation and partnering with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Continuously look for ways to improve processes, strengthen controls, and make accounting operations more efficient and scalable.
