LGI Homes is seeking a Senior Accountant at our Corporate Headquarters in The Woodlands, Texas. Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or related field.
- Strong Microsoft Excel skills.
- Ability to meet deadlines and manage competing priorities.
- Outstanding organizational skills with a strong attention to detail.
- Strong analytical skills.
- Positive attitude.
Nice To Haves
- At least 1 year of relevant accounting experience is preferred.
- Knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP).
- Newstar or homebuilding experience is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Supporting all accounting needs for LGI Homes.
- Responsible for the day-to-day accounting, monthly reconciliations, as well as other general accounting related activities of all assigned LGI Homes communities.
- Participate in monthly, quarter and year-end close processes.
- Assist with external audit quarterly reviews and annual audits.
- Work on other general accounting duties and projects as assigned.
