We are seeking a high-performing Senior Accountant to join a dynamic, rapidly growing accounting organization. This role offers meaningful exposure across the business and will work closely with Accounting, Treasury, and Finance leadership, including regular interaction with the Controller and Chief Financial Officer. This is an excellent opportunity for a detail-oriented professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is looking to expand their impact within a collaborative, high-visibility team. Location: 3 days working in our Sandy Springs office and 3 days remote (required)

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance required
  • 3+ years of relevant experience (public accounting experience, including Big 4, strongly preferred)
  • Strong understanding of U.S. GAAP and financial reporting principles
  • Experience with month-end close and financial statement preparation
  • Advanced Excel skills and proficiency with Microsoft Office
  • Experience with ERP systems; Workday experience is a plus
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills with attention to detail
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Effective communication skills and ability to collaborate across all levels of the organization

Nice To Haves

  • CPA or progress toward certification preferred
  • Experience with process improvement initiatives, automation tools, or leveraging AI to enhance accounting workflows is a plus

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and review journal entries across a range of complex accounting areas, including leases, accrued liabilities, revenue, and fair value measurements
  • Perform detailed analysis and reconciliation of assigned general ledger accounts, ensuring accuracy and completeness
  • Analyze cash activity and prepare related entries tied to revenue and expense recognition
  • Review and reconcile intercompany transactions and investment accounts across multiple legal entities
  • Support the monthly close process, including preparation of consolidated financial reporting and variance analysis
  • Partner with cross-functional teams (e.g., Treasury, FP&A, Merchant Billing) to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting
  • Prepare audit-ready documentation and support internal and external audit requests
  • Assist in the development and mentoring of junior team members
  • Identify and drive process improvements, including opportunities for automation and efficiency
  • Contribute to special projects and ad hoc analyses as the business evolves
