About The Position

BCES Global is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Senior Accountant (CPA required or in progress) to join our finance team. This role will play a key part in maintaining accurate financial records, supporting month-end and year-end close processes, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards and internal controls.

Requirements

Active CPA license (or CPA designation in progress strongly preferred)
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
4–7+ years of progressive accounting experience
Strong knowledge of US GAAP
Experience with month-end close and financial reporting
Proficiency with accounting systems including ADP, Sage, or similar
Advanced Excel skills

Nice To Haves

Experience in construction, engineering, or project-based environments
Exposure to multi-entity or multi-state operations
Experience with ERP implementations or system upgrades
Audit/public accounting experience

Responsibilities

Lead and support month-end and year-end close processes
Prepare and review journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial reports
Ensure accuracy and completeness of general ledger accounts
Assist in preparation of internal and external financial statements
Ensure compliance with US GAAP and applicable regulatory requirements
Maintain and strengthen internal controls and accounting policies
Support audit requests and coordinate with external auditors
Perform variance analysis and provide insights on financial performance
Support budgeting and forecasting processes
Identify trends, risks, and opportunities within financial data
Identify and implement improvements to accounting processes and systems
Support automation and efficiency initiatives within finance operations
Contribute to the development of scalable accounting practices
Partner with operations and business leaders to support financial decision-making
Assist with special projects as needed
