We are seeking a motivated and experienced Senior Accountant to manage the day-to-day finance and accounting operations. Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance or related field.
Minimum of five years’ experience.
Understanding of GAAP reporting.
Organizational skills and adept at handling multiple tasks simultaneously.
Demonstrated excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Demonstrated excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, accuracy and time management skills.
Demonstrated ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality.
Demonstrated knowledge of employment-related laws and regulations.
Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, including intermediate to expert Excel skills.

Responsibilities

Maintain the general ledger, including journal entries, revenue/expense classification, account analysis and reconciliation, closing books, setting up new accounts, and capital review.
Prepare general ledger balance sheet reconciliations (bank accounts, prepaid expenses, fixed assets, accruals, debt, intercompany activity).
Analyze expense accounts for accurate reporting of operating results.
Prepare monthly financial statements (balance sheet, income statement) and other required reports.
Track and prepare depreciation schedules.
Prepare and submit state sales and use tax returns.
Support the Financial Controller with Board of Directors quarterly reporting and annual budgeting.
Assist with ESOP accounting and forecasts.
Maintain compliance with Company policies and procedures and the Company Code of Conduct.
Perform other duties and tasks as assigned.
