Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • CPA designation required.
  • 3-5 years of progressive accounting experience, preferably in a corporate finance environment.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial regulations.
  • Proficiency with accounting software and advanced Excel skills.

Responsibilities

  • Managing the completion of month-end close procedures and reporting status updates to management.
  • Identifying Issues related to financial reporting or processes and bringing forward, with recommendations for Improvement.
  • Maintaining audit quality working papers as part of monthly processes to facilitate review and audit.
  • Working with other departments to facilitate efficient monthly reporting and understanding of business drivers.
  • Supporting the Implementation of new systems, software and related processes.
  • Ensuring monthly tax returns are completed In a timely and accurate manner.
  • Generating and Interpreting reporting to support various financial analyses.
  • Ensuring accurate completion of various monthly account reconciliations and analysis.
  • Supporting various Initiatives to either improve efficiency of or automate various components of the finance function.
  • Contributing to a team-first environment by supporting fellow team members and contributing to a positive work environment.
  • Assisting with audit requests from various bodies.
  • Occasional travel may be required between clinics (10%-20%).
  • Mentoring and developing finance team members through knowledge sharing, skill-building guidance, and fostering professional growth to build organizational capability.
