Requirements

• 5+ years of accounting experience with strong general ledger ownership.
• Hands-on experience with month-end close, reconciliations, and financial reporting.
• Strong knowledge of technical accounting and revenue recognition principles.
• Proficiency with QuickBooks, Bill.com, and advanced Excel functions.

Nice To Haves

• Biotechnology, life sciences, pharmaceutical, or clinical-stage company experience is highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage the month-end and year-end close process, including journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial reporting.
• Maintain and analyze general ledger activity to ensure accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.
• Support revenue recognition, technical accounting research, and implementation of accounting policies.
• Oversee accounts payable processes, vendor payments, and expense management through accounting systems.
• Partner with leadership on financial analysis, audit support, process improvements, and special projects.
