About The Position

RecruitGo is seeking a Senior Accountant based in the Philippines to manage client relationships and ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial reporting. This role involves handling multiple client portfolios, overseeing bookkeeping, preparing financial statements, VAT and Corporate Tax reporting, and providing direct support and advisory to clients. The ideal candidate will possess strong accounting skills, excellent communication abilities, and a proactive approach to client management.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • 3–5 years of relevant accounting experience, with exposure to client management and reporting.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple client accounts and deadlines.
  • High attention to detail and strong problem-solving abilities.
  • Experience handling 20 clients.

Nice To Haves

  • Knowledge of accounting software/ERP systems is a plus.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills for direct client interactions.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Experience in managing a client portfolio within an accounting or consulting firm.

Responsibilities

  • Act as the primary point of contact for assigned client accounts, ensuring timely communication and delivery of services.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients by providing financial guidance and addressing accounting, tax, and compliance queries.
  • Oversee the accounting activities of 17+ client accounts, ensuring deadlines are met and standards of service are upheld.
  • Record day-to-day financial transactions, including accounts payable and receivable, journal entries, and bank reconciliations.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date general ledger accounts.
  • Assist in month-end and year-end closing processes.
  • Support the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
  • Ensure accuracy and compliance with relevant accounting standards.
  • Assist in variance analysis and preparation of supporting schedules.
  • Sending out financial statements.
  • Prepare VAT workings and ensure compliance with VAT laws and regulations.
  • Assist in the timely submission of VAT returns and maintaining supporting documentation.
  • Ensure full compliance with UAE VAT laws and timely submissions.
  • Manage VAT reconciliations and address discrepancies.
  • Assist in gathering and organizing data for Corporate Tax filings.
  • Support preparation of corporate tax computations and documentation.
  • Ensure compliance with UAE CT regulations and assist with audits/queries.
  • Review corporate tax computations and filings to ensure compliance with UAE CT regulations.
  • Liaise with auditors and tax authorities regarding queries or assessments.
  • Advise clients on corporate tax planning and compliance matters.
  • Provide financial and administrative support for ad-hoc projects and process improvements.
  • Assist in system implementation, automation initiatives, and other finance-related projects.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth execution of project deliverables.
  • Work with the internal team to ensure timely delivery of services to clients and ensure that clients & expectations are met.

Benefits

  • Salary Range: PHP 30,000 – PHP 40,000
