About The Position

We are looking for individuals to play an integral role in growing our outsourced accounting practice. We provide back-office, fractional accounting services to a variety of clients across the country. Simply put, our objective is to provide superior client service by executing at a level that meets Embark's lofty standards.

Requirements

• 4+ years of experience in corporate accounting and/or Big 4/public accounting
• Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP
• Strong computer skills, particularly in Excel
• Keen attention to detail
• Strong communication skills, both oral and written
• A high sense of urgency, strong initiative and the ability to multitask
• Operational accounting & monthly close experience

Nice To Haves

• Process and procedures documentation experience
• Financial statement preparation experience
• SEC filing exposure/experience
• Experience in multiple general ledger systems (i.e., Quickbooks, Netsuite, Sage Intacct)
• Experience with close management programs (i.e., Floqast)
• Experience with AI tools (i.e., Claude, Gemini)
