About The Position

Integrated Specialty Coverages, LLC (ISC) is a growth stage technology and data-driven commercial MGA and insurance wholesaler leading innovation in the market. Backed by one of the leading private equity firms, Onex Partners, and led by a forward-thinking management team, ISC is combining the worlds of insurance and technology to create an Insurtech powerhouse. As a leading online distributor of insurance products for a range of industries and “Main Street USA”, we are looking for the right people to help us in our mission of achieving exponential growth. We strive to be the number one place to go for brokers and agents to source insurance. To accomplish this, we’re building a digitally focused team that deeply understands the intersection between user experience, data, and AI/ML to optimize the way we engage with our customers and partners. We are looking to hire a highly driven Senior Accountant to support a fast-growing Workers Compensation insurance business within an MGA environment that directly supports the carrier. This role sits at the intersection of accounting, finance, and operations, and is designed for someone who can take ownership of the financial mechanics of the business while operating in a high-speed, high-volume setting. The ideal candidate will bring a strong foundation in accounts payable, receivables and financial operations, paired with the ability to work confidently in Excel to manage, reconcile, and analyze large datasets tied to premium flows, commissions payables, trade payables and transactional activity. This position is not a traditional back-office accounting role. Instead, it requires someone who can operate as both a technical executor and an operational partner to the business. You will be responsible for supporting day-to-day servicing needs across financial workflows, including answering questions related to payments, tracking transactions, and resolving issues in real time. You will work cross-functionally with operations, legal, and internal teams, acting as a key resource to ensure the accuracy and efficiency of financial processes across the organization. Success in this role requires the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, evolving environment where processes are still being built and optimized. You should be comfortable managing hundreds of transactions and requests while maintaining a high level of precision and accountability. A strong understanding of Excel (including formulas, lookups, and data manipulation) is critical, along with the ability to quickly learn and navigate complex financial workflows within the insurance ecosystem. Experience within insurance, particularly in an MGA, carrier, or similar environment, is highly preferred but not required if you bring strong transferable experience from another high-volume financial setting.
