About The Position

Parkway Properties owns and operates 15 car wash locations and continues to grow through development and acquisition. We also operate a related company, Elite Services Group, which distributes equipment, chemicals, and builds docks.
We are building a high-performing finance function and are looking for a Senior Accountant who can take ownership, improve processes, and help us scale.

Role Overview
This is not a plug-and-play accounting role.
You will work directly with the CFO and be responsible for owning the accuracy of financials, improving processes, and helping build the accounting function.

Requirements

• 2–4+ years of accounting experience (industry preferred)
• Strong understanding of financial statements and how they connect
• Ability to identify problems and propose solutions—not just execute tasks
• High attention to detail with strong ownership mindset
• Comfortable working in a fast-moving, unstructured environment
• Experience with multi-entity or multi-location businesses is a plus
• QuickBooks Online experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Own and execute the monthly close process across 15+ locations
• Review and improve the accuracy of financial statements in QuickBooks Online
• Identify and correct accounting issues (not just process transactions)
• Manage and reconcile: Cash Debt schedules Fixed assets / CIP Intercompany activity
• Assist with budgeting and financial analysis
• Build and document scalable accounting processes
• Support lender reporting and refinancing efforts
• Work cross-functionally with operations to ensure accurate reporting
• Help implement internal controls as the company grows
