About The Position

They are currently looking for a Senior Accountant who combines strong technical accounting skills with ownership mindset, leadership potential, and confidence in client-facing communication.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting required
  • 7+ years of full-cycle accounting experience, ideally within outsourced accounting firms, multi-client environments, or fast-paced service-based companies
  • Strong hands-on experience with QuickBooks Online and solid understanding of GAAP principles
  • Proven experience working with U.S.-based clients, including presenting financial reports and explaining financial results
  • Experience managing high-volume client portfolios and overseeing accounting workflows for junior team members
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail
  • Tech-savvy and comfortable working with modern accounting tools and systems (Karbon, Bill.com, payroll platforms, Microsoft 365, etc.)
  • Ability to work independently, prioritize effectively, and operate successfully in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision

  • CPA or equivalent certification is a strong plus

Responsibilities

  • Own full-cycle accounting operations across a portfolio of U.S.-based SMB clients, managing up to 30 accounts with high accuracy and consistency
  • Lead month-end, quarterly, and annual close processes, including financial reviews, reconciliations, and reporting
  • Analyze financial data, identify trends and variances, and confidently present insights to clients during recurring meetings
  • Review and oversee accounting workflows completed by junior team members, providing guidance, delegation, and quality control
  • Act as a key escalation point for complex accounting issues, client requests, and accounting clean-up projects
  • Maintain strong client relationships through proactive communication, problem-solving, and high-quality service
  • Drive operational excellence by improving workflows, supporting system adoption, and maintaining internal process standards
