About The Position

As a Senior Accountant at Avalon Health Care Management, Inc., you will play a key role in financial reporting, account reconciliations, process improvement, and system optimization. You will collaborate with facility and corporate leaders throughout the organization, directly impacting financial accuracy, operational efficiency, and organizational success. This role is part of a corporate team that supports skilled nursing and post-acute care operations across multiple states.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting
• Three or more years of accounting experience
• Strong reconciliation, analytical, and problem-solving skills
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
• Strong communication and teamwork skills

Nice To Haves

• Experience with ERP systems such as Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central preferred

Responsibilities

• Lead key month-end close and account reconciliation activities
• Analyze financial data and resolve discrepancies
• Prepare reports and insights that support business decisions
• Improve accounting processes, workflows, and reporting efficiency
• Partner with facility and corporate teams to ensure financial accuracy
• Support special projects, system enhancements, and process improvements
