About The Position

Arkansas Talent Group is exclusively partnering with a local mid/large organization to help them hire a Senior Accountant to join their growing accounting team at their headquarters in North Little Rock. This is a high-impact role with real growth potential as the company scales for this hired individual.

Requirements

5+ years of progressive accounting experience —either in private or public accounting audit
Degree in Accounting is required
Technically strong in accounting with deep reconciliation experience
Mid to large business experience, having worked in environments with $50M–$100M+ revenue
Strong general ledger background with solid month-end close experience
Comfortable working across multiple entities in a high-volume accounting environment
Strong Excel skills (intermediate to advanced)
Able to understand the accounting behind the numbers — not just process transactions
A strong communicator, both written and oral, who enjoys collaborating and interacting with others
Comfortable in a growing, evolving environment and flexible when job duties shift with growth
Analytical mindset with the ability to understand the "why" behind the accounting

Responsibilities

Own key pieces of the month-end close process, including journal entries and account reconciliations
Manage general ledger accounting across multiple entities
Support project accounting and allocation work
Assist with tax-related and compliance-driven accounting responsibilities
Perform variance analysis and identify opportunities to streamline accounting processes
Support special automation projects, including leveraging AI and Microsoft Business Central to drive efficiency
Contribute to special projects as assigned and support accounting processes as the organization grows
