About The Position

We are seeking a detail-oriented and knowledgeable Senior Accountant to prepare and record general ledger journal entries related to inventory, perform monthly cost audits, and support the annual standard cost roll. The role requires a strong understanding of standard costing, accounting principles, financial statements, and analysis. The position is hybrid, with in-office presence required Tuesday through Thursday, and is based in Jacksonville, Florida. It is a contract position paying $38.00–$40.00 per hour.

Requirements

Responsibilities

Prepare and record general ledger journal entries related to inventory.
Perform monthly cost audits and provide support for the annual standard cost roll.
Assist with monitoring and work with operations to obtain monthly metrics for inventory cycle counts.
Support monthly standard cost variance analysis for purchase price variances, freight, and duties.
Perform monthly balance sheet reconciliations.
Collaborate with multiple departments and levels within the organization.
Assist the cost accounting team with special projects as assigned.
