About The Position

This role is for a Senior Accountant responsible for executing month-end close activities, supporting special projects, process optimizations, and system enhancements. The position involves performing account reconciliations, variance analyses, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure financial accuracy and enhance operational efficiency. The Senior Accountant will also identify and recommend improvements to policies, procedures, and controls, while adapting to evolving priorities in a collaborative, fast-paced team environment. Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or related discipline
• 2+ years of public accounting experience and 1+ years in industry, preferably in a complex, multi-entity environment.
• Strong technical accounting skills with a focus on process optimization and scalability.
• Proven ability to excel in collaborative, fast-paced teams and adapt to a high-energy workplace.
• Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP, internal controls, and corporate accounting practices.
• Knowledge and understanding of finance/accounting systems and designing processes and procedures
• Accounting workpaper design and documentation
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and documentation skills.
• Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills, with a demonstrated ability to develop and mentor team members.
• Advanced Excel skills
• Ability to act with integrity and professionalism
• Ability to perform accounting related tasks at a high level
• Ability to communicate information in a clear and concise manner
• Ability to engage and foster strong partnerships with the leaders and team members across HOPCo.

• Adapt to evolving priorities while contributing positive energy to a collaborative team environment.
