About The Position

Bridgepoint Consulting, an Addison Group Company, is seeking experienced Senior Accountants to join their Austin-based team of Professional Accounting Consultants. Consultants will support clients with a variety of interim and project-based Accounting needs for small to mid-sized companies in the Austin and greater Central-Texas area. Consultants will provide services onsite at the client's location, functioning as part of their teams throughout each project. Opportunities are available for both full-time and part-time Senior Accountants.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of hands on, full-cycle Accounting experience.
  • Industry experience within private equity, technology, software/SaaS.
  • Has experience with monthly close procedures as well as monthly and quarterly financial reporting.
  • Has prepared monthly bank and balance sheet account reconciliations.
  • Recent hands-on experience with routine accounting processes such as accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, payroll and cash management.
  • Hands-on experience with accounting softwares (i.e. QuickBooks, NetSuite, Great Plains or Intacct), along with moderate – advanced experience with Microsoft Suite, especially Excel.
  • Strong desire for consulting style work and delivering excellent client service.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with all levels within the organization both written and verbally.
  • B.A. or B.S. in Accounting or Finance required.

Nice To Haves

  • Big Four & public accounting experience a plus.
  • Revenue Recognition highly preferred.
  • CPA a plus.
  • Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license or MBA.
  • Prior employment by a Big Four or other nationally recognized accounting firms.
  • Industry experience in emerging growth, technology, and SaaS companies.
